There are new changes at your local parks for 2026! Jonquil, Supera and Wrightwood Park are now all managed by the Wrightwood Area Parks Advisory Council (WAPAC).
We are a team dedicated to transforming our local parks into vibrant, welcoming spaces that serve as the heart of our neighborhood. We believe that well-maintained green spaces are more than just scenery; they are essential hubs for connection, recreation and shared memories. By prioritizing the revitalization of these areas, our mission is to keep fostering a sense of community for the public.
Jonquil Park friends,
The park is still closed for the moment, but the new backstop is now up and fresh grass has been laid. We’re getting close, but it will still be a few more weeks before everything is fully set and ready to reopen.
A huge reminder: the new grass really needs time to take root, so please help us by keeping people — and especially dogs — off the grass until the fencing has been removed. We know everyone is excited to get back in there, and protecting it now will help ensure the park comes back stronger and healthier for the long term. Thank you!
